Rosh Chodesh, or "head of the month" in Hebrew, is a monthly Jewish holiday that celebrates the start of each new month of the Hebrew calendar, which follows the lunar cycle. Jewish women have kept this holiday close to their hearts for thousands of years as a way to reconnect their souls with their cycles and with the beating heart of the universe. Join our community of a mix of pregnant, postpartum, and non-birthing folks for this monthly opportunity to celebrate, laugh, cry, learn, unite, and grow. Babies are welcome!

The stresses of work/parenting/life/our never-ending-to-do-lists are relentless. It is all too easy to slip into a pattern of “just going through the motions” of daily parenting life. But is it possible to find spirituality in the diaper blowouts, the sleepless nights, the time-outs and meltdowns? Explore the possibilities of parenting as a spiritual practice in this new series curated by Rabbi Anna. Open to all parents, whether your babies are still in your arms or they have grown and flown.

Explore the answers to these questions and more in this learning session with Anna Calamaro, based on her recently completed rabbinical thesis: "From Sarah to Rebecca to Bubbie To You: Empowering Modern Jewish Lives By Embracing Ancient Ancestral Birthing and Postpartum Wisdom."
